Off to a good start

Took a leisurely route into work this morning, as I didn't have any meetings first thing - waking along canal and the Water of Leith before catching a bus on the Calder Road. 

Stopped an chatted to a man who had rescued a newt from the path (where it was in danger of being trodden upon or cycled over) and bumped into a former work colleague walking her grandson to school. Also overhead a young girl chatting to her mother about zero. Good stuff. 

Looking for to Rain* this evening and then heading up to Pitlochry for the first time in what seems like ages. 

*A dance performance at the Festival rather than actual rain falling from the sky.
