despite the torrentials pouring down i met up with The Garside and Mr Tim this afternoon up at Llandegla. we hit all the black trails, every last one, and grinned through soggy teeth for all of it. it was tough going (man, those climbs are killer) but the grinfactor was immense.

Did a couple of sections I've not tried before ('Parallel universe' and 'B-Line') and despite getting bucked off on a rock garden section (thankfully landing on my feet!) and having to get off to skip a couple of 'not-tried-em-so-a-bit-scared' dropoffs i had an absolute ball.

grabbed quite a bit of air which felt good - even with the mushymud landings. i'm not exactly in Superman territory yet (more a couple of inches) but hopefully the skills course i'm going to book soon will help me with that :)
