Sophie & Her Colours

While it's pretty obvious there's nothing wrong with Sophie's language development (in other words, she never stops talking!), she has appeared to be slow in identifying colours. (I'm colour blind and believe that it's a male disability, inherited through the mother's genes, so not something that Sophie should have inherited)

However, sometimes we've got the impression that she enjoys teasing us and today, while she was absorbed in colouring in the garden, Tess was casually asking about the colours she was using and she got every one correct.

Here she was saying "It's orange, Grandma" in a tone that suggested that Grandma ought to know better!

We'd enjoyed a sunny morning in the outdoor pool before an afternoon playing in the garden.
