Festival Friday

Today was book festival day.  First off was AC Grayling on 'Democracy and Its Crisis'.  His analysis was forensic and withering.  He left us with hope that something needed to be done and something will be done.  He was angry after Brexit and his response to anger was to 'write a book'.  It will be launched next week.
Then Martin Gayford on his book he has written with David Hockney.  Too much name dropping for me.  And finally Evelyn Glennie, Sally Beamish and David Mitchell (the author) in a wonderful conversation around music.
Whew.
