Stuck in floods

I took this when I finally got to Ripon this morning. Had to make a short detour and drove through a few large puddles!

Went down to Sheffield for a meeting - on the way back we found the river had broken through in several places and we struggled to get back to the office for me to get my car.

Then I had to try and get back home! I passed the place I stood to take this photo 5 hours earlier and it was under a good foot of water and still rising!
The puddles on the way home had become lakes!

Was very glad when I walked in the door - to then take Moss out (he had his stitches out this am) and let him jump in the puddles!
