Where it began

Day 2 of the holiday and this is where it all began.

January 8th 1935 Gladys Presley gave birth to a still born son 'Jesse Garon Presley'. She did not know she was expecting twins so was obviously devastated.
As the doctor was cleaning her up he noticed that there was another child to come. 35 minutes later Elvis Aaron Presley was born here in a 2 bedroom shack in Tupelo Mississippi. Born in absolute poverty. Elvis' father even spent time in jail when Elvis was young for forging a $5 dollar cheque to $50.
