Overheard on the poop deck...

..."Eeeeh we could be in the Caribbean...." ( now say it again with your best Geordie accent! )...
Decided on a little cruise today - aka a ferry trip across to South Shields! Little did we know it was the Crossing the Tyne Festival... We were treated to live music as the ferry landed on the north side, a change of acts for the trip across, and the same on the way back! Everyone sang along to hits from Andy Williams & Motown, Springsteen & Sting, Caro Emerald & Lindisfarne! Great fun and what a treat ;) The musicians have been working hard all day, tag teaming various venues, keeping people entertained and singing, and in the process raising money for Oxfam.

The second is of a very silly Blipmeet yesterday evening in Newcastle station - I don't believe we stopped talking or laughing for over two hours ;)
