THE COPSE

For ears we've driven this same road and for years I've been thinking the trees in this small Copse would make for an interesting photograph, SEE WHAT YOU THINK?
Been a fine day, Harrogate seemed quiet, perhaps everyone had headed to York for the racing, thankfully Dearest postponed the intended trip to that fine City until the morrow, still not be able to move mind but at least the race goers wont be half tanked and clogging up the streets (have you noticed how every bus, coach & taxi stops by the verge on race days to allow the punters to take a leak, not the best of sights).
Finished the day at 'The Proms' on The Grove in Ilkley, part of the Summer Festival, thought it was a bit of a disappointment compared with the last few years but what do I know, everyone else seemed to be enjoying it.
Added an extra as the colours reminded me of an old Constable print from my childhood.
