Lessons in the Garden

Okay, this will (may) be the last Hibiscus bloom shot for the year. I didn't rush them this season by cutting the long stems when the (initial) blooms were spent and the plant looked unruly. This year I added a support (actually repurposed an old fire ring) around the base of the Hibiscus in its early stage of growth. My reward for not being impatient but proactive was many more blooms in the second flush this time around. Live and learn...the garden always provides life lessons and reminders!
