Boston: Quincy Market

One of the best ways to discover Boston is to take a trolley bus ride which visits all the key points and which allows you to hop on and hop of as you please. We have had a full day seeing the sights and getting a real feel for Boston's place in America's history......the Boston Massacre, the tea party and the Battle of Bunker Hill...none of which were particularly good news for the British. We were impressed by the Old State House which although now overlooked by towering new buildings is still a real symbol of American Independence.
And then there is Quincy Market and its array of cosmopolitan food! Wonderful!
