Alicante Landing

At 9am our friends collected us and took us to Cardiff Airport for the 1.10pm flight to Alicante, Spain, where we landed on time about 4.30pm.

We're 'dog sitting' for nearly five weeks in a four bed villa with pool in a small village called Orba. We didn't know the owners, but he is a former retired Police Officer like myself, and he does know my brother and some friends. They're a lovely couple and Cardiff City supporters.

After the 1hr 15min drive along the toll motorway to the villa, we deposited our cases and hit a couple of local bars for drinks and tapas.
