to Visit Jurby Church

We are awash with motorcycles whose owners are enjoying the Manx Grand Prix (now apparently called The Festival of Motorcycling)

In search of calm and serenity I got on my push bike and made a visit to Jurby Church where they had an exhibition of photographs and historical ephemera relating to Jurby airfield in the Second World War.

It was fascinating and much historical research has been completed by the organisers.

I was given a cup of tea and then wobbled home avoiding the motorcycles.......
