a long day travelling

We arrived on holiday in Turkey and drove the 2.5 hours to our favourite spot on the unspoilt and tranquil peninsula of Bozburun. It would have  been 2.5 hours had we not stopped at a restaurant on the way and taken 2 hours to eat an amazing and delicious sea bream lunch at Orhaniye. The first extra is the view from our table.

The second extra is a few of minutes walk away to Jesus Beach, where everyone walks on water !

We arrived in Sogut as the sun set.  

Dan and Lotty, our #2 son and girlfriend are with us, as they have been on our previous 3 visits to this area. We have chosen a different villa each time based on what we saw the previous visit. This one is literally on the waters edge, 5 paces away! We arrived as the sun set and Dan captured the moment with a new phrase, we have had sea views before, he said, but this is a sea and sound view. The evening was spent sitting looking, listening to the soothing sea with the occasional waft of food from the nearby restaurants. 

This is going to be the relaxing holiday I need.
