who needs soil anyway?!

Another very warm August day here so extra garden watering duties are being required especially for the dahlias!  But down the side steps these poppies and nemesia that have seeded themselves are thriving! isn't nature wonderful!!

Catching up on the to do list today, so have just dropped off a load of empty milk cartons to the local horticultural society who put out a plea for donations - not sure what they're going to use them for!  Also taken delivery of 2 new books that have been sent my way for review so need to add them to the ever growing book mountain that will never be tamed it seems!
