Depth of Field

I didn't have a picture and knew I wouldn't get one later so as I was sitting at my desk, I took two shots of my pen holder. I tried not to move the camera and took two shots with different apertures. They were both taken at ISO400 with the camera balanced on a cup and me holding it by hand. The one on the left was shot at f2.8 with a 1/8 second shutter speed. The one on the right was taken at f32 with a 15 second shutter speed.

Yes it's taking the differences to the extreme but it does show the difference in depth of field.
