When Gulls Collide

At the moment it's a fairly quite time in Edinburgh with the summer festivals over and the winter ones still a few weeks away. So blipfoto opportunities are a bit thin on the ground, well there is always our two cats I suppose but thats a last resort.

Anyway so having been cooped up for the last couple of days due to the rubbish weather today I ventured down to Blackford pond to see if the birds had any feathers left after the recent awful gales.

The ducks and gulls were very hungry as there had been no one dishing out bread for the last couple of days so when one elderly lady appeared with with a bagful of the stuff she became the most popular person in Edinburgh. Well to birds anyway.

Which is possibly why the gulls collided as they were just too busy looking out for a tasty crust. The next pic was was just a tangle of wings and feathers but the birds were ok it was just their street cred that had suffered most damaged I guess.
