I feel the heat of your desert heart

One last canyon hike today. Three miles in searing heat.  We  went to Buckskin Gulch. A beautiful place, not quite as impressive as Antelope Canyon. It  is subject to sudden flash floods, but Mike our guide had checked the weather forecast and and all was well. It meant another early start though, because after that we had to drive to Las Vegas.  We are a little way out of town and and after eating and walking to the Strip we have arrived back at the hotel very late and very tired.
