Through a lens darkly

Withered

When some of my friends got married, they had home-made centre pieces on the tables. They used old tin cans painted and decorated with colourful collages, and filled them with flowering plants. I carried this plant all the way from Hastings, across London and to Devon as I travelled on the train back from the wedding. It just about survived and I popped it on the windowsill in my office.

Then I went away for a week's holiday and it died in my absence! This is what happens when you forget to ask people to water your plants in your office.

Anyway, I have felt a bit like this withered plant today. I keep changing my mind about what crop to use!
