Rosy Minor

To be honest, he looked a dull grey when I first found him but under the macro lens, it's amazing what you can see. He's only about a centimetre long. Freshly hatched they look much more colourful but given it's the end of his season, I'm pleased he dropped in.

My moth trap was quiet last night but I still had two new species and this was one of them. There's over 2500 species that have been recorded in the UK (compared to just 59 butterflies) so that should hopefully keep me busy for a while.  

We made it out for a walk before the shower began and now for a day of house catchup, physio and food.
