Dinosaurs, Discussions & Dunbartonshire

A day in Dunbartonshire - both East and West - discussing ways in which pupils could investigate George Wyllie's artwork and create their own.

In East Dunbartonshire, it was the Literacy Forum and thoughts of the endless possibilities of interdisciplinary work which George Wyllie's art, music, drama, poetry, prose offers... definitely the archetypal Curriculum for Excellence man.

In West Dunbartonshire, it was an after-school coffee and a chat with two enthusiastic teachers thinking about including George's work in their respective Art Appreciation Week and Scottish topic.

The venue for that West Dunbartonshire discussion was on Great Western Road and the dinosaurs in the photograph were stalking just outside as we were talking.
