Red Admirals

Today all the hard work creating the Butterfly garden areas paid off! 2 children ran through school at lunchtime in a state of great excitement to tell me there were ' at least 9 butterflies' in our butterfly flowerbed. Maybe not 9 but certainly at least 5 large and very contented Red Admirals were fluttering round the bed or basking in the sunshine.They were still there 3 hours later when school ended. It was an absolute delight to see the children's excitement.
