The JADE

This huge Norwegian cruise liner entered the Port of Tyne early this morning on her first visit. She has 15 restaurants , an Art gallery etc and carries 2,400 passengers. ( I won't be one of them) They were coming off as we arrived. In the top photo you can just see South Shields on the other side of the River.
In the distance you can just see the Amsterdam ferry which makes regular trips back and forth. I've been on that one several times.
A lovely sight to see.
