View from Allington Hill, Bridport

A very lazy day. We didn't really emerge properly until about lunchtime - a first for us! We then drove to Bridport which is a lovely market town with some super little independent shops. There is even England's oldest family butchers - established 1515, which is amazing.
After doing the shopping we folllowed a footpath signed to Allington Hill. This is a small bit of the view that we were rewarded with. Fantastic 360 degree views, with the sea to the south and Dorset countryside all around.
In the evening, after we had eaten our dinner we managed to stay awake until about 10pm and then crashed out again. Hector and Ziggy slept for 13 hours!
