Kagyu Samye Ling

No pets allowed so we couldn't stay for long, but it was fascinating walking in the gardens and a quick peek into the temple. It's a whole other world just outside the village of Eskdalemuir. From there we had a short tour around an iron age fort in the forest and a dash into Moffat to buy light bulbs and tonic.
