It's a small world

This afternoon I just missed a bride entering the Church of the Holy Rude in Stirling where I'd been intending to search for a blip in the churchyard.

I changed my mind and decided to wait for the bridal party re-emerging, but in the meantime I asked the piper, who was also waiting, if I could blip him. He was all set to give me his formal pose - he must get asked all the time, poor man - but I preferred the one of him swigging from a can.

We got chatting. It transpired that he'd been in the army with a chap from Drymen, then he remembered that his teacher of Computer Studies at high school had come from Drymen. Turns out that teacher was...... the (late) ex-Laird Freuchie!!!

Small world indeed.
