Bella Italia - Essex Style!

An Italian festival was held in Southend today and this was our first sighting as we walked up the high street to do a bit of shopping! You can't get more Italian than this scene!

There were market stalls selling Italian food and wine, and a huge number of Italian cars - of the normal and supercar varities! - that were drawing the crowds and the gorgeous sunny weather helped too! I made a little friend too as a little boy - can't have been any older than 3 - was posing by one of the supercars and was fascinated by my camera while he was supposed to be standing still for his mum to take a picture of him on her phone! So in the end he took photos of me with my camera posing by his favourite car! Hopefully he'll be a Blipper of the future!!
