Autumn Awakens

On the way home this evening stopped off at Ardgowan Estate and managed to take some pictures just as the Sun went down.

I love this time of year, the golden light, the crisp cool air, the breeze that softly rustles through the changing leaves and spirals a few choice pickings down onto the eagerly awaiting ground. I love the dazzling display of vibrant, earthy colours and the sweet smell of burning seasoned wood, as it fills the evening air. I love autumn.
