Stalking Heron.

This morning we went off early to the Kinneil Lagoon in an effort to avoid the threatened rain. As it happened, that rain stayed off until mid afternoon and is now just good old-fashioned dreich!
Although the tide was well out and there were only a few birds within camera range, there was plenty to see. The usual suspects were shelducks, assorted gulls, redshanks, lapwings and ducks but I liked the way Harry the Heron here was carefully stalking his way across the lagoon.
