Chukar footprints

I lacked inspiration today. The closest I came to getting an interesting photo was this one. The birds were there seconds before (really) but all I got were the footprints. I walked past two groups of chukars this morning. It was still too dark to get photos of the first group. The second group was just out of range for a decent photo but after they walked across a wet lawn they at least left me their footprints. There were about a dozen chukars in each group. Apparently a group of chukars is called a mocking of chukars. Well, I'm shy of good photos but at least I learned something today.
