To finish EOTR for the year it was the brothers grim of East Kilbride and their colossal wall of driving bass, screeching feedback and just beautiful noise.
The Jesus and Mary Chain have pretty much been the ever constant in my musical life and tonight they rocked. They fucking rocked. Jim's quite sweetly engaging with the crowd these days and Will just stands at the back with his Gretsch Tennessean, looking for all the world like Pedro Almodovar.
They change. The music doesn't. And it's the best music ever.
