Fleshing out the bones......

.....of the family history a bit today (stuck in waiting for a parcel)......sometimes it's hard 'seeing' someone you never actually knew in real life.....'Mummer' Clementson (my G G Grandma) sounds like a redoubtable lady......

I've downloaded a free genealogical database programme (Gramps) to start recording stuff offline (as a backup) as well as online on Ancestry. It looks like it might be a steep learning curve transferring stuff over, but worth it in the long run I hope.....it's a little 'winter drawers on' project ;-)
