Delayed

This blip sums up my day.

Due to the extreme weather and all the flooding it caused North of York most of the trains to London were delayed including mine.

It started with a 3 min delay, then 5 mins, then 10, then 30 mins and eventually arrived over an hour late.

I arrived at my meeting to find that I had completely missed it. The meeting was with people from the railway engineering sector so it seemed quite ironic really!
