A day in Amsterdam. I'm sure I was going to do loads, but we started slowly, sitting in the sun at the campsite, brewing up coffee. Most enjoyable. After a visit to Foam (the Photography Museum) to see a Gordon Parks exhibition, I toodled off and got a Sunday Times and found a rather nice canalside bar to sit and read.
Come 6pm we met up at Brouwerij t'IJ - what a great place that is - and sociable too, with the long bench seating outside. Onward to a vis restaurant and back to the site where it was still early enough to get a can or two and sit out. On long benches. More sociability. Until the northern Irish guy arrived. Outwardly and superficially friendly. We made our excuses and left him to his charges.
