Claife Viewing Station

Volunteering today with the NT down at the Claife Viewing Station near the Windermere ferry. Arrived early on a very misty, moist morning. No camera with me unusually so grabbed a quick blip with the phone from just opposite the Ash Landing car park. Activities today included weeding and scrub clearance, pulling up small-leaved balsam to prevent it interfering with the rarer touch-me-not balsam, planting heather on a 1 in 2 hillside and removing some old tree tubes and stakes.

The colour version of the blip was only two-tone but I preferred the mono version.
