Little oaks.....

I headed for the Surrey Hills this morning to do a job for our friends who have now returned to Dubai. 

Job done, but before leaving I collected a few acorns fallen from the oak tree next to their home. I love the little cups the fruits are in and the colour and shape of the leaves. So recognisable. Looking very autumnal now and so they are my post for today.

I stopped in Dorking on the way home and finalised my outfit for Goodwood Revival on Saturday. The Riley will take us again but my style has changed each year. And why not! Any excuse to dress up....!
(This year I think I've actually got some shoes that will be comfortable to wear all day. Result!)
