Moon Over The Inlet

Well there's good news and bad news. The weather since yesterday has been outstanding and is supposed to remain that way through the weekend so that's the good news.

The early evening sky was really nice and I didn't even monkey around with the colors on this moon blip, the sky really was pink clouds with the remaining bits of blue peeking through as the sun set.

But the bad news is naturally hurricane Irma.

We still do not know for sure which way it will go as it approaches as a Cat 4 hurricane.

Right now the prevailing models have it going one of three ways...

One is rolling over Cuba than hitting land somewhere in Florida and moving northward from there.

The second is a direct strike exactly on us near Myrtle Beach South Carolina.

The third is the storm takes a hard right turn and heads right out over the ocean.
This would most certainly be our preferred outcome.

We will know more accurately in the coming days and whatever effects we receive will be next Monday or Tuesday.

If a mandatory evacuation is ordered, that would be next Sat. or Sunday.

So we continue to wait and hope for the best.
