Sun on Fire

The forest fires are raging still.  Washington, Montana, Idaho, California and probably more.  Florida is bracing for a hurricane.  We are very hot tonight but that is just fine.  The breeze is coming in slowly.  The extra is Maximus gathering kindling.  He likes to keep busy.  The funniest thing he did today - Kevin had some friends over who were visiting quite nicely.  Max evidently thought they had been here long enough.  He started talking to them in that  crying sort of hysterical voice.  I guess they were not sharing any food with him or maybe they were not keeping on subject which would what a marvelous dog he is. It was hilarious.
