Autumn sunbathing

I popped round to my parents house this morning and spotted loads of butterfly's on the flower border below the house. There were Red Admirals, Commas, Small Tortoiseshells and Small Whites along with a Silver Y moth. It's by far the most I've seen in one place all year (apart from in the South of France and that doesn't count!).
Unusually, I managed to get fairly close to one for this blip. I've tried many times over the summer and only once posted a butterfly before.
