Boulogne-sur-Mer

Detail from a memorial on the promenade at Boulogne. Dedicated to Capitaine Ferdinand Ferber, it has an  interesting inscription: "Precursor and victim of Aviation". The ground area around the monument has an anamorphic painting.

We are parked on the Motorhome Aire on the Eastern outskirts of town. Tomorrow I think we are going to stay on an organic orchard and dairy farm.
