Market babushkas

In Zagreb we're staying with Christine, Ruby's friend from Cambodia, who works at the French embassy. Christine lived in Phnom Penh for four years and talks about her love of hot weather as much as me. We would both prefer to be in the 40 degree late dry season Cambodian heat with sweat dripping off our noses than in 'meh' 18 degrees.

We toured central Zagreb, including the big underground market where the old ladies selling cheese were having a gay old time. The surroundings were stark but the atmosphere very jovial.

We had dinner at a very nice restaurant that sources all of its ingredients from the main Dolac market, and had a (very) heated debate about islamophobia.
