Master of all he surveys!

After a quick visit to the patchwork shop in Linlithgow L and I headed for Hopetoun House ...... and as the sign at the entrance says 'Scotland's Finest Stately Home' .... I think I would change the wording slightly to 'One of Scotland's Finest ..'

It certainly is a very impressive building that is still home to the Hope family. From the rooftop viewing platform there are wonderful views across the Forth to the three bridges.

We enjoyed following the Sea Walk Trail which gave us great views of the Deer Park, Blackness Castle and the River Forth.
