A Bucolic Day

It turns out Maryland is a very green place, at least this year or this time of year or both. Out west we have been dry and hot this summer with a lot of smoke from forest fires. We'll go back to that soon enough but for now I am enjoying the cool weather and the green. 

Overall, yesterday was pretty laid back. We went for a long walk in the morning with the boys and a dog. All three ended up riding the double stroller I was pushing but it was nice to get out and see some country. A storm front was on its way and it was quite humid and warm. Later in the day we has thunder and lightening and a lot of rain so getting out when we did was a good idea.
