Is Timing Everything In Life? Good question!

12 x 50 second bike hill reps (60 seconds recovery). Lovely chap, about my age who lives in the big old farmhouse toward the top of the hill just below Loch Kinellan, who occasionally sees me doing these reps.

He stands and watches rep 8. 

47.5 seconds.

Breathing out my backside I sail down for the minute recovery. 

Back up. Gasping for air.

'Always meant to ask you what you're training for?'

'Nothing'. Gasp.

'NOTHING!'

Gasp. 'Aye, old habits die hard!' Gasp.'

'Did you use to take part?'

Gasp. 'Aye, something like that.' Gasp.

Chap scratches his head.

Back doon the hill for rep 10.
