Podgorica

I was lucky enough to travel to Montenegro for two days to interview the national airline. I stayed in the capital Podgorica which is small by European standards, just 200,000 residents. But it had a lovely relaxed attitude, temperatures in the 20s, great wine and food and the people are very friendly. I was staying in the old medieval Ottoman quarter and had chance to explore the narrow streets. Unfortunately many of the buildings were destroyed during bombing raids in WW2 (by the Allies sadly) and many of the cities oldest buildings were destroyed but some survived including this 18th century mosque. I would thoroughly recommend a visit.
