In a corner of St Ives

Having been based in Hayle this week I wanted to visit St Ives before we left. We enjoyed a wander towards the harbour. tucked away at the far end was this cottage lean-to which I presume belongs to a fisherman. So much to absorb and take note of.

We then adjourned to Loe Pool Cornwall's largest natural lake. Originally an inlet joining Heston to the sea before it was cut off by a sand and shingle bar. We enjoyed a walk through the woods to the bar and back. Still a number of things on the to do list but a very good reason to return on another occasion.
