Listening to Titanic theme

In the infamous lift which leads to the rooftop bar in Zamalek. The soundtrack is the Titanic theme, and I guess it's apt... the building is positively decrepit, but the views of the Nile are fab! Came to see colleagues and to say farewell to a couple of them. It's the time of the year when people move on. Not many knew I was in town, so it was a surprise and good to see people. 

Another busy day, got my hair done which was much needed, and saw an up and coming jeweller who has made me the most beautiful earrings. Very indulgent, and designed to be a memory of Cairo. It's a very special process having something made. 

A late night... but fun. And drank some wine :)
