Sweet Smile, Sour Beers

Today we drove north to Lovell where we're staying one night at the charming Center Lovell Inn, built in 1805. This was another beer pilgrimage.

The destination was Ebenezer's Pub, which Ratebeer consistently ranks in the top ten of the world's best beer restaurants. Cynthia and I shared a flight of five rare lambics while enjoying an excellent lunch. It was well worth the trip!

We were lucky to arrive at the inn just before a thunderstorm -- see extra -- and were glad that we could have another great meal in the restaurant. I must have eaten double my normal calorie quota today!

Tomorrow we'll drive back to Portland for a couple of nights before flying home.
