statue saturday

The sun has returned this morning so that's lured me out in the garden - although everything is so wet from the rain it's not proving to be the best conditions to garden in!  Still picking tomatoes and apples though so need to search out new recipes for those later to help use them all up!  Won't be getting any brussel sprouts though this year as the caterpillars got bored with munching on nasturtiums and have swarmed onto the brussel plants! And i'm too kind hearted to pick them off!

At least nothing seems to be destroying the dahlias this year.. this one has someone to watch over it 24/7!
