ESA

"Long night of the stars" - an open-door day at the esa , the European Space Agency in Darmstadt.
On the occasion of the 50 years anniversery the esa opened their doors for the public. I was thrilled, that I had gotten hold of tickets month ago and tonight was the night. We (J., R., T. and me) were allowed to discover loads of issues around the space between 21.30 pm and 23:00 pm.
They showed new developements, that will be used on Mars one day (#1st extra). There also were loads of lectures in the conference building (main blip). We were to the control centers, too.
I was very astonished, how many different missions they observe.
For example they observed the Mission of Rosetta (#2nd extra)
We could even see the original model of Rosetta. (#3th extra) In the centre you can see R. how is is explaining  Rosetta to T.
T had a great time. There were a lot of visitors from the space, especially from Starwars. She loved them all. And she had the opportunity to try the virtuel reality trainings programm for the astronauts, including a short walk on the moon with a spectacular view to the earth. She's a lucky one!
It was a fabulous adventure!!!! :-)
