Canadian adventure

Wedding day. After a busy day yesterday preparing the venue and running round today is the day. The guys stayed at home and had a leisurely breakfast and myself and the brides mother ,Linda, joined the girls at the hotel to get ready. What fun we had. Champagne flowed freely here and then in the limo. Had a cracking headache for the rest of the day. Don't suppose the red wine helped either
It was a beautiful day, a beautiful wedding on the river bed on a First Nation reservation. Back to the venue for a hog roast and sort of bonfire ( fire ban in place) then back to the hotel.
As we drove we could see a fantastic lightening storm in the distance. The favours were s'mores which we put together in the week.
The extra is the limo we went to the venue in. The cake was ice cream cake from Dairy Queen. The little bit I had was delicious but being gluten free I couldn't eat it but had my own GF cake made by one of the guests which was gluten and dairy free.
